This is the i-write that I did on Friday 10th August
I trained hard and look what happened.
This is it, the time when a years worth of training pays off.
As sweat trickled down my already hot head, I looked straight to the finish line. It's the olympics it only happens after every four years, that means that I have to go and give it my all.
I'm wearing my sweatbands on my head, hands and feet. It all makes my head, hands and feet itch. However, there is no turning back anymore! Someone handed me a bottle of water but my hand was shaking vigorously so instead I spilled it on myself.The water made my New Zealand costume glisten in the hot England sun. Doing some jogs on the spot made me slip on my sneakers.
Looking around me i saw that I was up against 2 Kenyan runner, 1 American and 3 Jamaicans. Among the Jamaican runners I saw the one and only Bolt. Rumor has it that in 1 second he could run 10 metres! In one step he already gone 2 metres!
I could hear the crowd cheering and whistling
